Symbols on Coins by
Tony Holmes
Meetings are held
at the Abbey Baptist Church,
Abbey Square,
commencing at 7.00 p.m.
NOTICES
- (A Reminder
from last time) At club nights
you will have noticed that we now have many tables offering coins, and
several first time people investigating the club with a view to possibly
joining. In order to improve security and to identify first timers the
Committee has decided to reintroduce name badges, which will also improve
welcoming newcomers. So when you arrive please take your badge from near
the door and wear it, as a lack of a badge will enable me to identify
itinerants. Should you arrive before the badges, please get your badge as
soon as you see them out.
- Also we have reintroduced a signing in form. In the event we have
to evacuate the building the services will need to know who was present in
order to ascertain there is nobody unaccounted for. So you must sign in as soon as you see the form is out.
(Signature or tick will do)
- It is also coming up to the time for the AGM and that means the
election of a new committee. Please think about joining the committee
because it is unfair to expect the same old(!)
faces to keep doing everything every year.
